Starlife Technologies Legal information

Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 14 July 2026

These general terms describe the commercial foundation for interacting with Starlife Technologies. A specific product license, proposal, statement of work, hosting agreement, support plan, invoice, or written contract may add to or override these terms for that engagement.

Products and licenses

Software products are provided under the license, plan, deployment, and support terms stated in the commercial offer. Purchase or access does not automatically grant source redistribution, resale, sublicensing, unlimited installations, white-label rights, brand removal, or ownership of reusable Starlife components.

Project scope and changes

Custom work should have an agreed scope, deliverables, responsibilities, milestones, timeline, review process, and payment structure. New features, major revisions, additional integrations, changed assumptions, migration surprises, or delayed client inputs may require a change request, revised timeline, or additional fee.

Client responsibilities

Clients must provide accurate business information, lawful content, valid licenses, required access, timely decisions, approvals, feedback, and a responsible contact. Clients are responsible for the rights to materials and services they instruct Starlife to use.

Estimates, payments, and delivery

The website calculator produces a planning estimate from the options selected and the pricing catalog active at that time. It is not a binding final quotation, proof of payment, or guarantee of immediate commencement. Final scope, assumptions, third-party costs, taxes where applicable, production availability, milestones, and responsibilities require written confirmation. Currency, deposit, recurring fees, and handover conditions are stated in the relevant offer or invoice. Starlife may pause work, deployment, access, or support where agreed payments, required access, approvals, or legal conditions are not satisfied.

Manual payment verification

A bank, Mobile Money, Bitcoin, USDT TRC20, or Eversend payment notification submitted through the website only records information supplied by the sender for review. A tracking code, timeline, or submitted status does not automatically prove that funds were received and must not be treated as an official receipt. Before authorizing a transfer, clients must verify the displayed account holder, recipient, wallet address, network, amount, and project reference. Crypto amounts must be confirmed with Starlife at the live rate before transfer, and USDT must be sent through TRON TRC20 only. Clients must never share a PIN, one-time password, card security code, account password, private key, seed phrase, or recovery phrase with Starlife. Work begins only after the tracker shows a Starlife-published verified state, scope approval, required access, and formal commencement confirmation.

Currency conversion references

Currency conversions displayed on the payment page are recent informational reference values supplied by an external data source. They are not guaranteed settlement, cash, bank, card, Mobile Money, Eversend, or crypto execution rates and may not include provider spreads or fees. The project estimate and payable milestone remain denominated in XAF unless a written Starlife invoice expressly states another currency.

Hosting and third parties

Domains, hosting, email, payment gateways, licensed assets, plugins, APIs, platforms, and other third-party services have their own prices, renewals, limits, availability, and terms. Starlife can assist with selection and configuration but cannot guarantee another provider's uninterrupted service.

Installation and production access

Installation depends on compatible infrastructure, authorized access, valid software ownership, backups, and required credentials. Starlife may refuse or pause unsafe deployment. Clients should change temporary credentials after handover and maintain appropriate backups unless managed coverage states otherwise.

Acceptance, warranty, and support

Review and acceptance periods are defined in the project or product terms. A reported issue is assessed to determine whether it is a defect against agreed scope, a change request, user-operation issue, third-party failure, infrastructure incident, unsupported modification, or item outside current support coverage.

Intellectual property

Ownership and usage rights for custom work are governed by the written agreement and full payment. Pre-existing tools, open-source components, licensed assets, commercial products, third-party software, know-how, and reusable Starlife components retain their applicable ownership and license terms.

Prohibited use

Products and services must not be used for unlawful activity, unauthorized access, abuse, fraud, malware, infringement, harassment, or actions that threaten systems, users, providers, or Starlife's operations.

Limitation and continuity

Technology can be affected by third-party outages, network conditions, attacks, incompatible changes, provider limits, user actions, and events outside reasonable control. Specific service levels, remedies, liability limits, and continuity commitments must be stated in the applicable written agreement.
